What is Smokin' on the Beaver?
Smokin' on the Beaver is a famly friendly BBQ Festival featuring all-day live music, a dedicated Kids' Fun Zone and all-you-can-eat BBQ all day!
We kick-off our event Friday night at 5:30 pm with team check-in and music throughout the evening. The public is welcome to come enjoy the atmosphere and meet the teams. Saturday is a day full of food, drinks and fun! The gate opens at noon and live music plays all day to set the tone for the afternoon. Feel free to explore the festival grounds and mingle with the competitors. Teams are encouraged to share their specialties with guests throughout the day. Our competitors enjoy showing off their skills as they serve a full BBQ feast under the Smokehouse Tent at 6:30 pm, including their top-notch brisket, pork butt, ribs, sides, sauces and so much more!
Make sure you bring the kids down for some excitement in our Kids' Fun Zone featuring a bounce house, carnival games and face painting - for no additional cost! The Kids' Zone opens at 3:00 in the afternoon. Don't forget to commemorate this special day with unique Smokin' on the Beaver t-shirts, hoodies and more from our merchandise booth.
Stick around for the awards ceremony at 7:00 pm on the Main Stage to see if your favorite team won a banner. Then shed some of those calories while dancing to the headlining band's incredible live music.
Our Goal
Smokin' on the Beaver was born out of love for community. This event is about more than good food and a good time; it is a chance to connect with our community, find new friends and, of course, share in some friendly competition.
Our priority is to keep entry prices low so we can include as many teams possible. Our theory? The more teams, the more people, the more fun and the more FOOD! Smokin' on the Beaver is all about the teams and our intention is to keep it that way!
