Volunteer Schedule & Committment

Volunteer shifts are available throughout the weekend, including Friday evening and Saturday. Shifts are flexible, and you can sign up for as much or as little time as your schedule allows. We do our best to place volunteers in roles that match their interests and availability.

Volunteer shifts are scheduled in two‑hour blocks. Sign‑ups will be available through the online form in August. Judges must be 21 years of age or older. Other volunteers must be at least 18. Youth volunteers may assist in select areas with supervision and must be approved by the Committee Volunteer Chair.

What to Know Before You Volunteer

Volunteer sign‑up opens in August. If you’re interested in volunteering, join our mailing list to be notified when the form goes live.

Volunteers should check in at the gate to receive their badge. Volunteers receive free admission and are welcome to enjoy the event, but must report to their assigned position at least 10 minutes before their shift begins to allow for smooth transitions. Please wear appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes, as the event is held outdoors.

Volunteers who commit to a shift but do not show up will not be eligible to volunteer the following year. If you are unable to attend after signing up, you are responsible for contacting the Volunteer Chair so a substitute can be arranged.

Once you sign up, a committee member will follow up with additional details closer to the event.
